Ruby Byrne

Born and raised in Peterborough, Ruby has deep roots in the community and strong connections to its historic downtown. Passionate and community-minded, she is proud to be beginning her legal career in the city that shaped her.

Ruby graduated from Trent University’s Dual Degree Program, offered in partnership with Swansea University (UK), earning an Honours Bachelor of Arts in History and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the Hilary Rodham Clinton School of Law in 2023.

Ruby has several years of experience working as a Student-at-Law in the Peterborough area and joined LLF Lawyers in March 2025 to complete her Articles of Clerkship. She is gaining experience across all areas of the firm’s practice, with a particular focus on estate planning and estate administration.
