Jeff Lanctot
Jeff Lanctot is the senior partner in LLF Lawyers’ Litigation Group. With more than 30 years of experience in civil litigation, Jeff has represented municipalities, individuals, and corporations in a wide range of complex legal matters before various levels of court and numerous administrative tribunals.
Jeff’s practice includes appearances before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice in matters such as fire loss and real estate claims, long-term disability and employment proceedings, personal injury, and professional malpractice. He has also represented clients before the Ontario Court of Justice in property standards prosecutions and before the Divisional Court in cases involving the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, human rights, and insurance claims. His tribunal experience includes proceedings before the Ontario Land Tribunal (formerly LPAT and the Ontario Municipal Board) and the Ontario Labour Relations Board.
In addition to his legal practice, Jeff is the founder of Dockets, a configurable, cloud-based software platform that enables lawyers, judges, and court staff to efficiently file and track court documents electronically. Designed to streamline communication, scheduling, and case management, Dockets provides a comprehensive, user-friendly solution for electronic court records and workflow management within the Canadian court system.
